What should I do when I get stuck deploying a vibe-coded app?
It is usually one of three things: a secret value (environment variable) is missing on the server, the build command differs from the host's setting, or the domain isn't fully connected. Show the first line of the error to your AI as-is and check in this order.
Do it in this order
- Does the build finish locally? Run the build command to the end on your computer first. An error there will appear on the host too.
- Are the secrets on the server? Values that exist only in your local settings file are the most common cause. Add them under the same names in your host's settings.
- Read the first error line The first error, not the last, is the cause. Copy that line and ask your AI.
- Check the address A domain can take a while to take effect. First confirm the temporary address from your host works.
